I was looking to bring something home last night to eat and the thought of pizza sounded good. So I did a Google map search for the pizza place closest to me at the time that wasn’t a national chain. Upper Crust Pizza was someplace that I hadn’t tried before so off I went on another culinary adventure.

I ordered a vegetarian pizza with some cheese sticks.

On the positive side:

• the order came out quickly and the crust was crunchy.

On the not so positive side:

• The crust was flavorless however so there probably was no secondary fermentation to give it that little zip.
• Even though it was vegetarian they still managed to make it greasy. It coated my tongue somewhat after the meal.

So my recommendation would be to try another pizza place. Perhaps the wonderful, Times Square Pizzaria?
