Pine Cone Restaurant Micro-view
So I was heading up to Central Wisconsin and I thought I would stop in one of my favorite bakeries. The name of the bakery is “Pine Cone Restaurant” and it has sugared delights that are hard to find other places.
Nestled in Johnson Creek right off of highway 94 it looks like many other gas stations lining the highway. However when you go inside, cream puffs and cookies the size of your head.
Check it out the next time you drive by.

OMG Felisha. I love this place too. Have you ever had their dinner rolls? They taste almost like brioche and are sky high. I often get them for my Thanksgiving dinner. My husband and I used to stop here for breakfast every Sunday on our way over to Madison, from Milwaukee. We were helping our daughter fix up her basement so that was a nice place to stop for breakfast. Great blueberry pancakes.
Hi Karen,
Thanks for stopping by. I have tried most of their baked goods at the Pine Cone and loved them all. And it is a mandatory stop when driving to Madison. Unless I’m trying to watch what I eat then I give it a wide berth.
Have a wonderful day and a great Thanksgiving.
